Welcome to the heart of the Thuringian Forest! Our holiday village Bad Hundertpfund is situated in an idyllic, sunny and quiet location in the middle of the forest, approx. 1.5 km outside Großbreitenbach (state-recognised resort, UNESCO biosphere region). We have 9 houses of different sizes (one of which is handicapped accessible), ideally suited for families and groups. Spacious, modern and comfortably furnished holiday homes for 1-9 people - House type B has 96 square metres, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower/WC and bath, separate WC, living/dining room, two balconies, satellite TV, radio, gas central heating, use of washing machine and tumble dryer in the main house (for a fee), pets on request, car parking spaces, large campfire site, barbecue and seating in the garden, on the play and sunbathing lawn. The prices depend on the type of house (type A, type B, type C), number of persons and season.

The very quiet location in the middle of the forest, embedded in several streams, mushroom forests and herb meadows, is ideal as a starting point for relaxing hikes, challenging mountain bike tours and cross-country skiing, far away from the stress of everyday life. The legendary Rennsteig, the longest high-altitude hiking trail in Germany, is approx. 8 km away. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous hiking trails, groomed cross-country ski trails and groomed ski trails in scenic and varied routes. The nearest ski slope (with ski hire and ski school) is also only approx. 5 km away. In the region, extraordinary attractions such as castles (Wartburg), palaces (falconry), show mines (Feengrotten), glass blowing (Lauscha), zoo (Erfurt), zoos (Arnstadt, Suhl), museums (toys, natural history, bunkers), or summer and winter toboggan runs offer very special experiences. In addition, numerous towns worth visiting such as Ilmenau, Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, Oberhof, Meiningen or Coburg are only an hour's drive away.
